WHEEL STRAIGHTENING
Potholes, curbs and road hazards can cause the integrity of your wheel to warp. A bent wheel can usually be “felt” more than seen as wheels typically bend from the inside (structurally weakest part of the wheel). Even the slightest bends can lead to air-pressure loss, uneven tire-wear, vibrations at high-speeds and alignment issues – all of which lead to hazardous driving conditions for you and your passengers. DCWC is equipped with state of the art straightening equipment that can cost-effectively restore a bent wheel that would otherwise need to be replaced. We offer onsite wheel straightening services using our state-of-the art Straightening Machines. This is a great service that can save a lot of wheels that would otherwise be discarded. CNC LATHE REFINISHING
A groundbreaking wheel service that takes CNC machining direct to our customers. This process essentially re-faces machined wheels that were badly damaged. Our state of the art CNC Lathe precisely re-cuts the face of your damaged machine wheels, leaving a factory-identical finish. This process is then completed by applying two layers of clear coat. This is the same process used by companies that sell OEM replacement wheels as “brand new”. 95% of the time, these “brand new” wheels have been refurbished using a CNC Lathe. Our revolutionary service brings this identical process direct to our customers and for a fraction of the cost. POWDER COATING
Powder Coating: Powder Coating your wheels is the most durable finish available. It is a very different and much more thorough process than traditional liquid finishes. When your wheels come in for powder coating, the first step is to fully remove the tires, valve stems and sensors. Next, the wheels are stripped using a chemical strip solvent or media blasting, depending on what is necessary. After the wheels are stripped and clean they are ready for powder coating. This is an electrically charged process that causes dry paint powder to adhere and fuse to the wheel. After thoroughly coated the wheels are placed in large commercial ovens for baking at around 400 degrees. The end result is a finish tougher than liquid paint with an incredibly brilliant shine.
